Accomplishments
Nils Perez earned his Bachelor in Physical Therapy from Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso in Chile. He is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Ontario Physiotherapy Association, Orthopedic Division, Private practice division, Acupuncture Division and Sport Physiotherapy Division.
Nils is also a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and member of Ontario Kinesiology Association. Prior to completing his Bachelor in Physical Therapy, Nils obtained a Bachelor in Teacher of Physical Education from Pontificia Universida Catolica de Valparaiso and a Diploma in Exercise Physiology from Universidad de Chile in Chile.
Nils is passionate for sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions, soft tissue manipulations blending with Traditional Chinese Medicine methods such as Acupuncture, Dry needling, IMS, Washa, Cupping and Acupressure. He has worked with various university sport teams such as Judo, Basketball, Volleyball, swimming and a professional soccer team in Chile.
Experience
Nils is convinced that we always have the opportunity to do things in a different way through the continuum learning and research in action. He is certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of McKenzie part A Lumbar Spine, Soft Tissue Release, Concussion Management and TMJ disorders which has become a very important roll in his practice. In addition, Nils is an Acupuncture and Dry Needling Instructor at APTEI and Meridian Health Education Program as well as an Osteocircuit instructor.
Hobbies
Nils enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling, camping, tobogganing and ice skating. He is a family man who enjoys all kinds of fun filled activities with family and friends. He also likes to go to the gym and he has obtained his black belt in Aikido.
