She has previously worked as a personal trainer and life coach, and has a strong interest in promoting a holistic approach to healing with a sensitivity to cultural differences and preferences.
From her personal experience of recovering from a chronic pain syndrome, she strongly believes that healing is a personal journey. She bases her approach on building a good relationship with her clients to better understand their needs, and to help them achieve their goals by using a combination of treatments, with a focus on manual therapy, exercise, education and breathing techniques. She will continue to add to her scope of practice with the aim of incorporating everything she learns into her treatments.
Sulayma enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures, people, and languages. She prefers to stay active and likes to constantly feed her creative side, whether it be through art, music, cooking, or movement. She enjoys learning about new things, old things, and exploring the world.
